1. Instructors – Our teachers are qualified specialists in their disciplines and have an inspirational love of their art!  All are CPR certified.
2. Facilities – Our dance studio rooms are state-of-the-art with professional floating wood floors to reduce fatigue and prevent injuries.  We have Wifi, a waiting area and outdoor grassy areas for parents to enjoy with younger siblings.
3. Customer Service – We take the opportunity to place you or your child in classes with the proper age and level for them to progress.  Desk staff are available to provide assistance.
4. Limited class sizes – Personalized instruction means more progress for each student.  Assistant teachers are provided to give more attention to students when needed!
5. Recital – We perform a yearly recital for students to show their skills and experience the stage!  Our recitals are low pressure and costs are kept to a minimal.
6. Performance Group opportunities -  For the more serious students, we have more opportunities to learn and perform more!  SODA’s Perform has danced for many festivals and special community events in our area.  In addition, we provide dance workshops, master classes and an occasional competition opportunity for those dancers wanting to excel!

School of Dance Arts is committed to quality dance Instruction for children, teens and adults.  We have high standards and a very talented team of Instructors that enjoy teaching and inspiring our students.  Our 3 dance studio rooms are equipped with floating wood floors and our 2 martial art rooms are equipped with top of the line safety mats (tkdworks.com).   We enjoy 6500 sq. ft.total space in our facility, wifi, waiting areas and spacious outdoor grassy areas.  The message in performance pieces is very important to us as well.  Because we hold high Christian values, we tend to use (very cool) Christian contemporary, hip-hop and rap for our Jazz / Hip-hop classes.  We don’t use suggestive material.  We are striving to make an impact on dancers We encourage our dancers to strive for excellence.

7223 Stonewall Parkway in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

We are in close proximity to I295 & 360.  We’re near Target, Home Depo, Martin’s 1.3 mi.  At School of Dance Arts we are now celebrating our 11th Year!!
