School of Dance Arts is committed to
quality dance training for children, teens and
adults. Our standards include an awesome staff, monthly
staff meetings on curriculum, theme changes for children’s
classes, and progression of students. Other standards are
Limited class sizes, and floating wood floors in our
studios. The message in
performance pieces is very important to us as well. Because
we hold high Christian values, we tend to use (very cool)
Christian contemporary, hip-hop and rap for our Jazz /
Hip-hop classes. We don’t use suggestive material. We are
striving to make an impact on dancers
We encourage our dancers to strive for excellence. The
benefits that a dance education can bring are numerous;
discipline, grace, control, physical fitness, can aid in
scholastic endeavors and personal growth!
School of Dance Arts
is located at 7223
Stonewall Parkway in Mechanicsville, Virginia. We
are in close proximity to “old Mechanicsville”, near the
Mechanicsville Library. At School of Dance Arts
we are now celebrating our 10th Year!! Currently we have 40 dance classes a
week and 20 martial arts classes (Taekwon-Do Works) meeting
